we had concerns , but didn't think this would really happen.
anyhow, they scrapped last night apparently....
we are headed to the vet now.
no way was i gonna pay an emergency visit late last night.

Ouch! I hope Sushi is OK.
I say just go fishing and then make fish for dinner. I know you're a catch and release girl but this would get you out of going to the stinkin store. :)

home from the vet---
sushi will be ok-- no stitches etc. just some antibiotics.. which is the main reason we went anyhow-- my main concern was infection.
anyhow anti B's , and some pain meds i had here already (tramadol).. they shaved a patch of hair around the wound.. she looks funny.
anyhow-- a week or so , she'll be good as new.
as for fishin-- i don't think we can go today-- hubby is gettin his crap ready for a tourney tomorrow-- otherwise-- good plan :))
btw-- i have put off shopping almost a week already-- we have gone out to eat every night for close to a week.. i MUST shop SOON.. even tho i HATE HATE HATE it.
if i lived alone i would live on cereal , and m-n-m's :))

I just read your comment so I'm glad it only needed some meds. And boy do I hear you on the hate of shopping. I have to go too. Don't wanna!! (how's that for a pout?)

I will talk to you in the am...since I have missed you the rest of the day, and earlier, I was chatting to you when you weren't home on the blasted laptop, and it just shut off! No warning, just over and out. Battery worn down I suppose, and I will be happy when I can work the damned thing. Ugh. I am so technologically stupid.
Have a fun evening, we are going to watch the race, at least I am, Mark shall be home in the next hour or so.

everything from walking from the parking lot, to finding crap, to sticker shock, to loading and unloading, to putting away, to cooking, to washing dishes.. all the way to doin it all over again!

nope i didn't see it happen but i heard it. the blinds were closed.. but they were outside, and i heard barking and sliding around and what sounded like a patio chair go flyin.. i was doin somethin so i just told soulman.. "dog fight"! he went out to check.. all he saw was them with their hackles up but apart from each other.. he took em in, but we didnt notice anything at that time. not til a couple hours later.
so anyhow-- not sure what started it-- we haven't put them outside together by theirselves since.
so far so good.
as for today-- hubby has a tournament--
me? a tossup between fishin.. shoppin.. or cleaning house...
hmmm... not sure yet-- too early. i'll let ya know

if you didn't need one more thing to worry about. Funny though, I bet a vet doesn't have any issues writing perscriptions for pain meds for pups whereas the quack docs do..

ya know-- i'm not sure i can take credit for asshat-- i'm sure i picked it up somewhere. but i do like it. seems a little more ladylike than asshole LOL.
hell i don't know. i'm in a weird mood this morning. weird meaning.. well.. just weird. but not funny weird. just kinda iffy weird. that's why fishin needs to be on the menu. ya reckon?'
anyhow--- vet didn't give her the meds-- they were actually rx'd to me.. but i can't take them anymore-- i actually think they are what contributed to the seizure i had. the more i googled what dosage to give to susshi the other night-- the more i found about "seratonin syndrome" with tramadol.. and really-- tram, along with wellbutrin and prozac? a walking seizure waitin to happen.. i think.
but who knows.
i just hope it doesn't happen again.
so yep anyhow-- i had it, knew it could be given to dogs.. so i just needed to see how much to give her. and it helps.
i'm still a little peeeved at eevee-- at really it's not her fault-- she's just a dog-- and sushi really can be a pest. so it's ok. i would really be pissed off tho if she woulda hurt her bad though.. like got her neck...or killed her or somethin.. she could have if she wanted to. so it's obvious eevee didn't mean to hurt her-- ya know. she just wanted to make her leave her alone-- whatever she was doin to her.

yikes. Hope sushi is ok!! Glad there are no stitches, but still...Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening again? Cabellas is a fun place :)
