i wanna be as cool as my dog thinks i am

(that's not my dog-- but i swear it looks like one that would end up in this family!)

so-- anyhow-- it's humpday already. this passed few weeks has seemed to fly by. maybe because i have slept away the better part of it. and when i wasn't asleep-- i was at one type of doctor or another-- or doing some other unpleasant time consuming task. the weird part-- the day i'm in-- always seems to d-r-a-g. wth?

and today--- yes i know i said yesterday-- but i was wrong-- but today, soulman goes back to work.... he's been off work since i had the seizure-- i don't even remember now exactly when that was.. 1 week tomorrow-- two weeks tomorrow??? hmmm... whichever-- it feels like damn forever ago. but at the same time-- it feels like yesterday. i still can't remember hardly anything. about anything.

oh and guess what else-- my mom in law--- who never reads my blog--- found an old--a very old email-- with my blog link on it-- so she goes there-- and THAT is how she found out about the seizure--- what a way to find out about something like that huh??? so she calls a couple days ago all frazzled asking soulman, wth..and why didn't he call etc. well, he's been a mess too. he meant to call, and had NO idea she'd read my blog. / and was waiting for more info etc..geesh. we both felt bad about that. but y'all gotta realize-- my "mommason", has been like a real mom to me since like the first day i met her-- so she was really worried.

sooooooo.... i could prolly write more right now-- but everyone is up and demanding my "soul-attention".. so i must go-- cuz i cannot focus on all this stuff at the same time.

i'll be back latah.....

happy humday peeps

Ooops on your mother in law finding out through your blog. There probably wasn't any use worrying her until you had something concrete to report. How lovely that you have such a good relationship with your MIL. Mine is slowly warming up to me......after 16 years. Sheesh....I mean whats not to love....LOL.

Happy Hump Day Soul.

PS That dog needs some serious dental work but gee he's cute.

you're right-- what's not to love??? 16 years eh? what's your anniversary? we hit 16 this year toooooo. hmmmm.
any mom should be proud to invite YOU into her family. i just don't get some people.

my in laws have always loved me.. i did get lucky there-- i would hate to be hated by hubbys family. i feel bad for people who are. it's sad.. especially when it affects the kids.

anyhow-- i know-- that dog is awesome! i would love it--- he'd fit right in here in soulland dontcha think. every animal we have ever owned has had-- or does have issues! it just kinda happens :))

happy-- thursday???
dammit.. i need a world clock!

That dog cracks me up! ha

Don't you hate when people find your blog from "real life"? I don't know why, but that bugs me, even though it's out there on the internet.

Hey, when did they say you can drive again? We need to do lunch soon!

hi J--
i KNOW-- i wanna hook up with you too-- but it's all still up in the air-- i don't have any results back..and even when i do get em back i may not be able to drive for six months. it's some standard law.
if it comes down to that though--i'm sure hubby would drop me off and go find something to do somewhere for a while one day-- but it would have to be a monday or a weekend-- if that would work for you? he is off on most mondays.

anyhow--- let's just hope for the all clear on the driving thing.. it could happen.. i hope.

have a great day today---
i tried to play your song-- but it wouldn't work.. :((

guess i'll try it on my other computer later and see.

latah...

I'm kinda like that too, Soul Sis - I'd rather wait to involve family in things until I have all the information, results, etc. just to keep them from getting more upset than is necessary. I sure hope the docs can get you some answers soon, so that you won't have to be worrying about this. I still want 2008 to end up being a good year for you! Love Ya!

Everyone reads my blog. I gave everyone the link and told them to keep check on me via the blog if they're interested. I'm not really a good communicator but I'm faithful with a once a day log.

I'm sorry your MIL found out the way she did, but I understand that there was no reason to upset her and I'm sure she does, too.

Oooops didn't tell her eh? Well I personally don't share a lot with family members unless it is super bad or there is a need. I share with my parents but I am THEIR daughter so...anyway. I can see your wanting to be sure things are ok or not before getting everyone else worried. That sounds like how I think so I don't think you need to apologize really, just let her know you wanted to be sure about things first, and then allow her to bring dinner for you LOL!

Only one person, who is a cyber buddy, knows of my blog. I think if I knew that friends or coworkers were reading it, I wouldn't write some of the things I do...even tho my detailed descriptions of my exciting hidden life shouldn't be of their concern. Secret Agent? Why hell no, just let me hide my specialized high tech weapons and trench coat.
Hope this humpty dumpty day is a good one for you!

That would be a seriously harsh way to find out something like that. Bless her heart. I'm sure she'll understand with the craziness that's been going on. I wish I had that kind of relationship with my mil. She's really supportive, but kinda creepy.

Your question about my book... The book is 248 pages long, but technically only about 175. Why? Because I researched what people like to read and its proven that readers like more space on the page and bigger print. So I did just that and poof its an astounding 248 pages of reading glory. ; )

Oh that dog just cracked me up! Its an old granny dog!!

Oh wow, fancy finding out that your m.i.l reads your blog! If my mum reads my blog, I have to erase somethings I have written about in the past...

yep, that would be a tough way to find out something like that about someone . if i thought she would see it i would have made sure hubby called or emailed before i posted about it. oops. well, next time someone is hurt or sick, i will know better :))

"humpty dumpty day" - :))

kelly J-- i could do 175 pages on my HEAD! woo hoo- now all i need is motivation.. and how many years??? :))

i guess it's unanimous-- we all love the "granny dog"

latah folks!

So she reads your blog, eh? Hmmm..I live in fear that one day my mom will find mine. I don't think I would like it.

It is too bad that she found out about your problems that way, but like you, I wouldn't have told her until you knew the reason or the problem. Ah, we can never win..

Have a really good day today, it's Thursday...geez what a dumb thing to say. IT IS THURSDAY. Duh.
