perhaps fishing, if the weather is any good.
we fished a little yesterday, but neither caught anything.
the water was real muddy-- from all the rain and wind lately-- maybe that's why??
but the weather has been great the last couple days. warm !!

We didn't go to church today, either, so we're also heathens. My son and his family joined us for Easter dinner.

You are such a dag Soul (dag is like someone who is fun and unique). It's hubby's birthday today but he flew out this morning so we had roast lamb, roast potatoes, roast onion, carrots, peas, beans and gravy for dinner last night followed by birthday cake (the same as the one I posted for my birthday).
I would've prayed for you if I was a church going soul but sadly I'm a heathen too. I hear where we're probably headed is a lot more fun anyway but probably too damn hot for me. Geez...quick....pass me my hat and gloves and get me to the church on time.....

at least you took the time to put together a basket. I went to Safeway (a grocery store) got the 2 on sale ones that had the same stuff just in different colors so I wouldn't have to hear about who got more than who, and then almost forgot to out them outside their doors. Luckily, my bladder woke me up at 5 am and my mind remembered.

that was my original plan.. didn't think i'd have the patience to mess with it this year-- and sein as i wouldn't be able to drive to pick stuff out i just had hubby grab some candy while he was out-- and used a basket we had from christmas-- yes i know-- i'm horrible. well, the kid sleeps late these days.. so i just threw it together at like 10 or so... some easter bunny i am huh.

i was a much better easter bunny when she was little. died eggs, movies, even some excitement...
this time it was a couple choc bunnies, peeps-- minus the ones i put on my face--and ATE- LOL-- and a card-- not even plastic grass--much less any eggs -- plastic OR died.
i went in her room and said-- hey- the easter bunny came.
without a shred of woo hoo in my voice.

No easter here either. I went for a hike. 5 miles up and down in the state park with four dogs. It's funny your dog's name is sushi. My cat's name is Saki. I know the drink is spelled sake, but nobody would ever pronounce it right, so we spell it SAKI, but she's named after the drink.
Glad you had a good Easter. Ours was pretty quiet. We stuck a peep in the microwave--easter tradition here. Big scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast, egg hunt and I made a leg of lamb for supper. Yum...good eats! No church,though. I am a self professed heathen, so be it. Didn't even get dressed until supper time.
