It's hard to believe fish could live in such hot water. Very cool that they opened the lake after so many years. Glad Soulman got a biggie. Glad you got away :)

it was almost 100 on top and almost 100 in the water .. the fish were gettin fried from both ends. i'm surprised they weren't boilin to the top !
gettin away is our middle name this summer -- we have (or had) like five trips/ vacations planned . one is done already.. the arkansas part 1 one. we all go back there in july.

Erin-- bass aren't like other fish ! ;)) 9 times out of ten they get hooked in the cheek ! right in the side of the lip. that's what most folks don't understand. and that's why it doesn't hurt the fish they don't swallow it like a catfish or a trout might -- and that's what makes a bass so easy to lose-- when they shake their head the hook sometimes flies right out!!!
that's why it's all so exciting!!!
