oh gawd y'all-- you'll never guess what the curse has brought upon my sister THIS time. i can't believe it myself-- oh but i can, because stuff like this happens to us all the time.
she has arrived at her destination safely-- BUT
"they" held Cavuto !!! they won't release him either. they could keep him up to six months-- because they can't locate the microchip-(inside of him)
oh gawd. i can just see my poor sister .
i don't know how they can't find his microchip-- let's just hope for her sake they find it--- and very soon.

mary--- i think they are both in a major state of depression by this point-- if they still haven't let him go. and i have no idea if they have or not. i haven't heard anymore from her. ugh.
and if she did come back with him-- i have no idea for how long. maybe just to re-chip him? dunno. i have no idea how a chop could just be lost in there. could he have scratched it out? somehow pooped it out? where do they put those things? and why didnt the other two lose theirs? wth?

Hi all, apparently the chips CAN work their way out. They can also malfunction and die (so to speak) then they must be removed to be read.
If the chip IS found by x-ray, it should take about 3 weeks to remove it and send it off to be read. If it is GONE , Cavuto will not be allowed in the country ,without a 6 month quarantine.(THAT is NOT gonna happen!) so him and I would have to go back home and do the whole damn process over again.
Please PRAY that they are able to find the damn thing. (This is also going to cost money thru the nose! The quarantine, the surgery...ect..) Or God forbid ,more plane tickets.
Christmas is officaially canceled here.
I am absolutely devastated.
I will update soon all about the trip and stuff.

if you do -- god forbid-- end up havin to come back to re-chip him-- could you just schedule it at a vet here? then you could only be here like overnight or so . rather than goin to ark, rentin a car-drivin here- stayin over night-goin thru the hoopla, etc etc.
you could fly in, see the vet, chip the cat, next day be on the plane.???
up to you.
but i do hope they find it.
if it did come out-- is it the vets fault???

That's crazy! I'm sorry to hear about all this drama with Cavato! Wish they had an embassy place for pets...not fair! How can a chip fall out. (my question mark key isn't working..ben spilled water on my keyboard so I shall say QM)
