oh man, i thought u tube might kill me with this one. for some reason it took like two hours to upload and process this thing. ugh. i'm sittin here fallin asleep. and starvin too.

anyhow-- i dropped of the river cameras this morning--- i got a phone call about twenty minutes later--- not a single picture was salvageable .... she said all three were full of water inside. needless to say, i was crushed. on the bright side though----- i at least thought far enough ahead to not try to take my good real camera on the tube .. that would really be devastating. so-- as for the river pix? i have none. but i did snag a few from the internet-- just so yall could see what it was like. we didn't have the black tubes, we had the red and blue ones..they were comfier- and had bottoms in em. but boy-- when you dragged yer ass on those big ole rocks-- it hurt anyhow. i didn't hit as many the second time i went :)) but i did hit a few.
anyhow--- here ya go-- pix galore---
i had to take a few out-- and it still runs about 5 pix longer than the music-- sorry.

you would love sea world-- it's awesome-- but lots of walkin-- i don't suggest you go this time of year-- go when it's cooler. waaaay cooler.
that one seal was branded-- it was kinda sad lookin actually. not sure why. none of the other animals were. maybe he was rescued from somewhere-- there were two or three in that tank , branded like that. dunno.
i don't think there were that many people when we went, but there were a lot. when we went together it was a weekday-- so not many-- maybe fifty-- when i went by myself-- it was a sunday i think-- so lots more-- but still maybe not that many.
and hells yeah-- beats the mall. love the water--hate to shop-- pick a hand.. :))
i need food-- no groceries as usual-- soulkid is at a friends for the night--and you know i aint shoppin tonight-- might hit micky d's and go fishin in a while tho... :))

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Now I want to take the same vacation. I still haven't gotten the NC road trip together. Our time frame is just after Labor Day. (Harry's choice.)

What a great way to share your vacay with us! I bet I'd love Texas. I loved that pic of the crowded river. What a lot of tubes! And I loved seeing how happy you and Soulman look together.
I loved every second of this! You all really did look happy, even the kid---and we all know kids that age are generally grumpy.
I know how long and hard it is to put one of these together, when I did the only one I will probably ever do, utube would not let me do an eight minuter...so I had to take it to another place and i don't think it was as good.
It is really too bad that all your pics were ruined. I guess you will have to remember the tubing adventures. Like Smocha, I want to know if it was that crowded when you went, if so---no wonder Soulkid got separated from you.

i aswered smocha above up there somewhere-- there were a lot of people-- and like i said -- my memory is clouded at best-- when it comes to details at least-- but my guess was maybe fifty the first time-- possibly twice that the second time. all i know was yes there were a lot of people-- just didn't seem so crammed together like that.
and yep-- i forgot to mention on here how soulkid kept goin and soulman had to go rescue her :)) at least she didn't get scared-- she still hasn't admitted she enjoyed it-- but i know she did! i bet she'd go tomorrow if there was somewhere to do it around here. i need to find out if there is.

goo-lawd i do not know-- but i am sooo more than ready to get my life back. or my routine i should say. it's been a fairly good summer-- a couple stumbling blocks i spose-- but overall.. it's been good.
