just babblin, bout nuthin

Well hell people. I have been tryin to write a new post for days. Nothing seems to come together.

Maybe this time??

I really don’t have a lot to say. Nothing has been happenin around here lately. Well, unless you wanna count tryin to put my life back together.

I will admit that it was quite the relief to see that y’all were as understanding as you were in the below post, with your responses to what I had to say.

That was one of those posts, that a person really kinda wishes they never put up. Ya know. But--- well, once it was there—it was kinda just there. Do or die, I guess. So, I left it alone. I’m still not real comfortable with it. it was actually too much information. But, if nothing else—it was good to get it all out. If not for you—it was for me.

Anyhow--- movin off of that topic---

Onto—what? I have no idea at this moment, but something will come to me. Maybe.

We’re tryin to get our vacation plans put (back) together. Things got all screwed up this passed couple weeks. I think we have it figured out now—cept getting the budget back in order. That’s the fun part. Not. But I think it’s doable. I just need to cook at home and stop the fast food bullshit. Hubby has cooked a few times, but for the most part—it’s been “out-food/ or to-go food”. And it adds up way too fast. Simply asinine—and lazy. But really, I don’t know who out there has felt like this—but I’ve been damn near paralyzed… just unable to function… in any sort of responsible manner. Ugh. Lots of catchin up to do.

Soooo—that means I get to clean my sty of a kitchen, and grocery shop today. And y’all know – those are my two favorite things in life. You also know that’s a blatant lie.

I have a million other things to do—just don’t know what, how much, or if anything, I will actually accomplish. But hubby is back to work, after like 5 days off… and I usually do more around the house when he isn’t here. So I guess I’ll just have to get back to you on that.

We did figure out which one of the cats is the culprit – who’s been peein ON the guest bed !.. AND poopin, on the guest room floor. I find it just ridiculous for any animal to do something like that—to pee ON a bed !!! it infuriates me to no end. I also had brand new bedding on said bed. Which is obviously now ruined—along with the mattress--- and now will all be taken to the dump. At first we thought it was both cats—but last night—SPOT was caught in the act. No one has been in that room since bro in law left— whenever that was.. a week ago? Well.. the frickin mattress is soaked… all at one end. WTF???? I just don’t get it. but .. the cat has got to GO ! if we simply close the door, she will find another bed to piss on.. and with my luck—it will be the one I have years left to pay for. And in that case—I don’t know if I could restrain myself from drop kickin her thru the house. I doubt I would really hurt an animal—but oh is it tempting. But yep--- as many times as I have threatened to get rid of these cats--- she has got to go. Asap. Jitterbug—the fatty cat--- we will give one more chance--- she’s the destructive one.. but that’s cuz she’s a clumsy lard ass, and claws my furniture—and barfs on everything , cuz she’s a pig. But a cat who pees on furniture?? I don’t think that habit can be broken, or affordable. So she is outta here. Sad part? I don’t know anyone who will put up with her—she’s psychotic. Really. Sooooo.

One more thing on my already full plate.

But hey—at least I’m not sittin around cryin, and fightin with people all day long lately. I think I have at least somewhat of a rational train of thought this passed couple days. And I will call that a blessing . I have been sleepin a lot.. guess that crap really wore me out. But I won’t complain, cuz I don’t think I hardly slept at all for a month. If anything, maybe 2-3 hours a night—and a few nights , not at all. Sooo… I reckon I’ll take what I can get—until I level out.

Anyhow—I reckon I should get this day movin.

Hopefully I will accomplish something worthwhile.

Happy Tuesday folks---

First of all, a big *hug* to you.

I'm hundreds of miles away from you, I've a different lifestyle, one with no animals (ohhh noooo), yet the ups and downs in life can left me all high and dry, or cold and cracked, or whatever, what I'm saying is, we all go through phases, and the most important thing is for us to walk out of it, and keep going forward.

I need to do more cooking too. Eating out is getting really expensive :()

Happy to hear you are sleeping... and happy to hear vacay plans are coming back together. I selfishly hope my area is still in the plan.

oh nooos on the peeing cat! This would not fly at my house. Kitty would have to pack her little bags and move on.

The Captain leaves tomorrow and we haven't fished once. :-( Too busy doing things that HAVE to be done. We did get a lot accomplished. At least there's that! ha!

Next time... we're FISHING!

Peeing cats are unwelcome anywhere. She needs a barn with lots of mice and peeing space.

I'm so very, very happy that you're feeling better. I hope the vacation plans fall into place and you have a wonderful trip.

If I were close enough, I'd be happy to grocery shop for you and carry them inside if (and there's always and if, isn't there) you would store them away. That's the part I hate.

Hang in there - I keep happy thoughts for you.

Hi....I never had cats except when a roommate of mine had 3 cats and one of them did not like me and started to pee and poop on my bed! I was NOT a happy person and even more upset that roommate said it was my fault for not making said cat feel like I liked her...which due to long story I did not like the cats in general from ruining things so in your case it seems like anything that will lessen you stress load will be good. I hope that you find some peace in your day.

I hope you take Spot to the vet before you get rid of her, frequently, with this kind of problem, it is something wrong, and treatable. At least try?

I hope you have had an awesome day today, and accomplished everything you wanted to do.

I'm soooo happy you're back.

xo

Does she have claws? Can she be an outside cat? I have been through so many cat pissing charades it's really not funny. ALL of my best work clothes got ruined once. The cleaners wouldn't even take them they smelled so bad!! LOL The real bummer is that my parents bought them for me when I was a teenage banker and I'll never have such a selection again. I used to love cats. Now I'm more of a dog person:)

I'm glad you're sleeping better. I imagine things may still feel a little rough, but hopefully the sleep is making a good and much needed difference.

Focus on that vacation coming up and hope you have a happy YUTESAD GINTH:)

Feeling better is always the first step to happiness. :)

Kitty's pee in the box or they move on. But if she's peed in the box the whole time and only started now, it may be a health issue.

Roggie literally scared the crap out of one of our cats last night! Seriously. He scared her and she darted away and left a lil nugget behind. LOLOLOL She better not keep it up tho, cuz that won't fly.

Love you!

So glad you're back and you're getting your groove back too...that sense of humor of yours is sneaking back a few words at a time. The peeing cat....how strange for a cat to do something like that. I wonder if maybe she didn't like the "stranger" who slept in that bed!! Sigh...sometimes it's really hard to keep a sense of humor with all this crap going on, isn't it? Pour me another cup, Soul-friend, and we'll tell each other our tales of woe. (got a few hours?) Love, Charlotte

Not much going on here. Em came home today. So far, alright.

Such a shame you have to trash the pee stained bed. Bad kitty!

Yay, you really must go on that holiday pronto. I love grocery shopping and would gladly do it for you if I could. Heck, I love cooking dinner too. How nice if I were your neighbour!

Ola,
Glad to see you are back!

Bitchypoo just wrote about her cat also peeing on the guest bed (they just had company )too.

In both cases , it sounds like a territorial thing to me.

Pooner used to do that crap when she smelled hormones of S.e.x. lol
(like on my room mates bed)

Well, good luck with that . Hope ya don't have to get rid of her.

Just checking to see how the vacay plans are coming along. Good food. A little sun. A swim in the ocean. Quiet walks on the beach. (A little visiting with me. no pressure) Even if you don't come here, a nice relaxing vacation might be just what you need. So glad you are feeling better. Big. tight. hugs. xo ac

It's my understanding that cat peeing on the bed. Is them trying to tell you their very mad about something (I know, well duh..) Any recent changes in the household directly related to the cat?

Glad to hear you feeling better.

It's good to hear you sounding a bit more like the Soul we know and love. :)
My husband had a cat that peed right in the middle of his bed when he was at work! Needless to say, the cat didn't stick around long. lol

Soul, Darlin’, you know I love and care for you so I hope you don’t take this the wrong way.

I may be just an old fashioned curmudgeon but I believe that if God had wanted animals to live in houses he would have given them the ability to build their own, as He did for the 3 Little Pigs, and you know what happened in that fairy tale. I know humans can become attached to, and even love, animals……but some animals don’t reciprocate as they should at times. They live in their own world and think their own animalistic thoughts. I think if someone wants to have an animal for a pet they should provide it with TLC which includes food, water, petting, AND THEIR OWN DAMNED QUARTERS outside.

Plan that vacay girl. You deserve a good visit to the relaxation station! :)

Oh and a cat that pees on the bed? Now that's just gotta stop! Ew!
