Nice fish Babe - Do you guys eat all you catch ? If so that's one healthy diet! Sorry to hear soulkids in summer jail but one class won't kill her I suppose. I spent my afternoon with the city of Seattles building permit department yet again. Have I mention how much I love them? NOT! I get to go back tommorow for more fun. - How ya feeling ?

summer jail LOL -- why didn't I think of that ?? :))

nah it won't kill her but she better learn this time-- it cost 220.00 damn dollars for just a few weeks..for 1 hour a day.. ERG. it's ok tho.. tough subject for her apparently.

anyhow-- what are you buildin? how long does it take to get the permit?

i'm good ... how bout you?

hope you are havin a good evening--

oh.. brad-- no we don't eat the fish-- we throw em all back...

Too bad about summer school, but like you said, at least she can walk there.

Blogger's been acting so strange for me. It seems I can finally comment tonight.

Em's B-day is Oct. 5. I don't think I got to tell you that when you asked. So, the girls are just a month apart in age. And guess what? It's back to the old boyfriend. Wah! School's out on Friday, with a long summer ahead. I'm glad for the end of schoolwork, but not all the free time.

SOUL said...

hey cheryl--

yep it's a big relief not worryin about schoolwork--- but the extra time is worse i think.

i think you mixed up a couple dates -- my girls birthday is march 9th.
easy mistake though. i've mentioned october a few times.

hope you had a good day today--

Glad you got to fish today. Sorry about summer school but glad you don't have to drive to and from. Only one class should make it easier for her to concentrate on her difficult subject.

Glad you had a good day - anytime I get $$ back it's a good day.

The permits are for jobs we sell to our customers - we won't be building till next year when jay's got it in his bonnet to redo the front of the house with a wrap-around deep porch - we face the west and get pounded by the late sun.

I wanna eat that fishy - poached on the BBQ with some lemon and asparagas - Hope you have a good wednesday darlin.

me too mary-- and i hope she gets the hang of it this time.. it seemed to help last time.. but i'll tell ya-- i'd rather pay for a tutor during the year-- than summer school. :((

and yep-- i was happy when the book turned up... of course the 20 didn't last long. :))
when does it ever tho.

happy humpday!

brad--- i have wanted a wrap around porch for my entire life !!!! for-evah ! i just don't want the two story house that most of them come with anymore. i'm not stair-friendly these days. but i have always loved that style of home. on a lake. or even big pond (with lotsa fishies of course).

ahhhh... i'm afraid that harsh reality has stolen that dream... but i still see it in the back of my mind from time to time.

perhaps a tar paper shack near a creek in the back hills of arkansas one day would be more realistic???

we sure haven't had much luck choosing rentals this passed few years-- i am soo afraid to see what we buy.
we don't know nothin bout birthin no houses!
money pits? oh sure thing, they find us!

why am i writin all this?
i think i'm still asleep.

good luck with your permit people :))

and your porch--

have a great day --

Yeah for your GREAT day!! Keep that momentum going. Me ... well, I'm heading to court because I signed our son up for soccer. Oh when will the drama end. He's also attempting to put a stop to my blog....first amendment is being challenged today baby.

Feeling quite positive about the whole situation. So we will see how this turns out.

holy crap angie----

that's goin a bit too far !
what guy doesn't want his kid to play soccer????

ya know, i saw a load of FREE horse manure on craigslist last night--- imagine the things that could be done with a truck load of horse shit !!!
ROFLMAO !!! i would even help !!!

and as for your blog-- umm... freedom of speech.. right... you don't think he has a chance a t that one do ya??? it's not like you slander him or anything. other people might. and if so -- it's only his name, mostly. hahaha. how can we not. :))

i hope things go your way -- i don't see how they they couldn't.. looks like he is just pushin buttons there.

good luck with it all.
try and take it easy today---

Nice fish Soul! You throw them all back? Really? Are they ok after having a hook in them? As you can see I know diddly squat about fishing. My husband loves it and always told me he was great at it. Well I have never seen much evidence of that claim and lets just say I'm glad we don't depend on his fishing skills to get fed.

SOUL said...

smocha--
surprisingly-- the fush was only 2lbs..
well.. 2 lbs is a good sized fish-- to be catchin like every day-- but they do look a lot bigger on here. it's cuz i take the pics myself and they are so close to the lens i guess.
most my fish on here are between 1 and 3 pounds. well-- obviously except the itsy bitsy ones :))

ya-- charging for summer school... wth is that about?? never happened til MY kid had to go-- :)) cuz i am ME ya know.
i think that's why they started teachin freakin high school math in sixth grade !!!
really--- i didn't see that crap she was doin til like tenth grade when i was in school ! no wonder it's hard for her. i don't know nuthin bout birthin no geniuses. :))
although, she really is smart-- she just doesn't like to be "told what to do"
she thinks she knows everything-- and that makes her very hard to teach-- even at home.
you know the type-- you had one.

anyhow-- whaddayaoin.

i slept like crap-- went back to bed at like 9 or so-- and just woke up again... my day is ruined.

can we say sloth?

SOUL said...

smocha-- that would be FISH-- NOT fush. :))

and nuthin exciting is happenin here today--

i'm in a coma state-- soulkid is STILL asleep-- and i cannot get motivated ---

my hair is gonna strangle me if i don't get it cut-- and i can't even muster the energy to wash it and go do that.

wth is WRONG with me???

i go three days like i'm on speed , then i can't move for three days. it's a never ending cycle.
it's that damn pill... every time i take it-- it kicks my ass for days. and not even a whole pill. it's the devil !!!

SOUL said...

hiya gypsy---

thanks-- yep they are fine after they get hooked-- the only time it's a problem is if the get "gut hooked"-- like if they swallow the hook--- or get it in their throat. but it's rare that bass do that. most of the time ya hook em in the mouth or lip. and they are fine. they almost never even bleed.

unhook em, put em back, and off they go. plus, if what i've read is true-- they don't even feel anything. no pain. somethin about not having nerve endings in their mouth or somethin. i'll have to find it again (the article).

---you've been married all this time, and are not sure that your hubby can fish? that's kinda funny. is there nowhere to fish near you? i bet the fishin is great there.

i wanna go there-- so does soulkid. hubby has been there-- in port before. i think he was there for like 7 or 8 days. he really liked it.

anyhow-- i hope you have a good day today--

Soul baby,
Hmmm, I wonder if your craiglist contact delivers to doorsteps....how hysterical would that be?

Court went well and in my favor?! Still pinching myself to see if it is true. I was not in contempt, my son CAN play soccer and my blog is safe. Turns out the Friend of Court told him that didn't want a spectacle made of their courtroom.

Truly a happy day!

Woo Hoo. Last day of school. Good for Soulkid. Sorry she has summer school, but glad it's local. We have 15 days until the end of school here. I don't think we'll need summer school, but dang he is cutting his math grade close!!

Just stopping by to see if you caught any fish and of course you did!

The Captain is back at work so I may even get a new post up. That man is such a distraction. HA!

Love the fish! ac

Too bad about summer school.

I'm glad you throw the fish back. On vacation we passed this gorgeous lake, just stunning how blue and clear it was. Filled with fishing boats and kids and stuff. Then at the far end we saw it, a pipe dumping yellow puke-like sludge into the lake. Just shows you never know.

Have a great night!
