don't worry jess.. i get em like yours too on occasion.. in fact i have a pic of hubby with one about that size-- i think it ended up deleted off of here-- but maybe i can find it somewhere... there's a couple of me with itty bitty ones too. i'll find em one of these days.
and MOTHA--- i know it-- it is kinda stupid sometimes to toss them back if ya look at it that way... there's been times we were sharing two chicken breasts between the three of us-- while throwin back four pound fish. hmmmm... yep-- somethin wrong with that picture .
oh well. old habits die hard. :))

I can tell it was a good day for Soul without asking. Just look at that fish. My fishermen catch and release, too, most of the time. Exception was the fish caught on the famous fishing trip.

Sounds like a day made in Soul Heaven. Sunny skys, big fish, no wind....what could be better. Btw my husband is mighty jealous of that there fish and was mortified that you throw them back. He only throws the little ones back that are illegal to keep. Not that he catches many anyway. I'm glad we don't depend on him to eat....lol.

really good to see you floatin around today-- :))
i love to make men jealous of my fishin abilities!T hahahahaha. there used to be a reallly strange guy that would fish over there, and he would get excited as a kid to catch like one pund fish, then he would just leer at me when i'd pull out these three and four pounders-- haven't seen him since the summertime-- and i really am not looking forward to his return. but it really was kinda fun to quietly taunt him with MY fish. :))

ya know-- it just MIGHT be a LITTLE more tempting at times.. to MAYBE keep one on occasion -- but this certain pond that i get most of these at-- i really don't know where the wtaer comes from , or if it is clean or safe.. so really it's just better to release them, and catch them again. and there is one in there that has one eye that is he's blind in--it's white-- i've caught him 2 or 3 times. and there's one that we are sure hubby has caught a few times too. so that's kinda fun, to know when you catch the same fish more than once. it shows that catch and release does work. ya know.
