another delayed reaction post-

here is another post i have been putting off for a few days...

i was tagged by blur ting a few days ago-

to meme.. about motherhood tid bits.. kinda sorta.

so here it is-- finally.

The rule is once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms, including the one who thought of you today & sent it to you. The idea is that if you get hit again, You will know you are really pretty!

.

If you're hit, add your name at the bottom of the tagged persons list, and without bumping the person at the top or bumping anyone off and let the list grow. Hit 5 pretty moms on your list to let them know they are pretty!

=================================================

here's mine:

Before I was a mom, i didn‘t know that i could love so much.

Before I was a mom, i didn’t know that such a tiny person could make me hurt so much when they hurt.

Before I was a mom, i didn’t know that i could feel all powerful, yet all powerless at the same time.

Before I was a mom, i never cried out of happiness.

Before I was a mom, i never knew what a gift it was to have a child.

Before I was a mom, I never knew how important it would be to stand up, when i needed nothing more than to fall down.

Great post--all of it is so true. We just don't know much of anything until we are Mom's do we?

Have a great day today. Go outside, for me...I want to go out and not freeze to death.

Wow Soul Sis, that was beautiful and so true!! It is true that motherhood changes us in ways that we could never imagine. The books don't tell you that, you have to learn it along the way. We do a lot of growing up right along with our kids. I know that your daughter is blessed to have you and some day far down the road we'll be smiling when you post pix of the beautiful grandbabies just waiting for their turn to come into your life!(((hugs)))

Hhmmm...
It does sound like HARD WORK! You know, gotta go thru pain, gotta love, gotta give, gotta eat left over pizzas, gotta spend on McDonald's...
Hold on, I've a HUSBAND, I've already done ALL of these :)

Good answers Soul! I just thought of one more.

We learn so many new things as a mother. Each time the kids learn something new, whether it is about animals or biology, we learn along with them. Being a mom makes us smarter!
