For now, i'm fixn ta eat dinner and watch american idol. Other than that?
I have a rhizotomy 'lazer surgery' scheduled for my low back on monday morning. All i can hope
for is some signicant pain relief, and a short recovery period. I hope that happens.

Hi Soul Sis! Sometimes we are all crybabies in life, maybe just needing a little understanding that life isn't much fun at the moment. I'm betting your lady shrink was just trying in her own "tech language" to motivate you. I recall my ex telling me to "Stop feeling sorry for myself" after our divorce and it made me so damn mad that it motivated me to get on with my life!! I remind my daughter all the time that sometimes the only thing we can change about our lives is not the things that happen but how we handle them, and whether we let them control us or vice versa. Easier said than done for sure, and I often fall far short of that. We all do. I think you do pretty darn good for dealing with chronic pain and not enough good answers. I'm praying for you tomorrow, that you can get a break from the pain and get out there and do a little fishin on warm afternoons. You are smart and good and kind, and an honor roll survivor, don't sell yourself short! Sleep well tonite, dream good dreams! OXOX
