(ya need to click the video -- then click again - cuz it's messed up-- full screen watch it -- i don't know-- or watch it on her blog -- the link is in the post -- 'smochas blog -- above) sorry -- it uploaded wrong -)
anyhow-- i just left her blog and she did get these videos up.. not much else because i am sure both the girls are totally wiped out after finally getting back from graceland last night. so, as i have had a couple days to recover-- their recovery only now is beginning.

I AM FIRST FIRST FIRST......yep this is vicki....how did you get those videos that big.....that motel was small and quaint....it did have issue, but don't stealth next year.....I/we had A GOOD TIME...ANYWAYS...IT WAS GOOD TO SEE YOU NICE TO SEE DANIELLE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS ,DAMN JUST NOTICED ALL THESE CAPS......GLAD YOU GOT HOME SAFE...OH YEA BACK TO WHAT I WAS SAYING...OK NOW I FORGOT...\
yep vick-- you are FIRST. ya know - we had a great time too. this motel 'stuff' doesn't take away from any of that. i can't explain it. i mean how it makes me feel. and it's not you. or smocha. i laughed at all that too. i know it was all in fun. it's more what other folks are sayin on her blog. maybe it's all of it combined. that place is in my soul. to keep it short - that's all i have to say about it. that place is a piece of me. and to have folks who don't know a thing of what has happened there-- or what it means - or what it holds-- to think it's some kind of crack house -- and talk about it the way they do. i guess it makes me feel like they are saying these things about one of my kids.
if that makes sense or not-- i guess it doesn't matter. but it matters to me.
i will continue to go there-- and if it is not good enough for executive folks - or condo owners. that's fine. i have come a long way too from the first night i stayed in that place. i could choose to stay in a holiday inn if i wanted to. i just don't want to.
don't worry - i'm not mad at y'all. i get it. but i know that i could end up living in a place like that any day of the week. i will never forget where i came from. and i will always hold that motel close to my heart. i feel my boys there. i talk to them there. if folks don't understand these kind of things-- then they are really missing out on some very important things in life. life isn't about 4 star hotels. it's about the beauty that can't be seen-- but the beauty in your soul.
anyhow-- it's all good -
have fun on the rest of your trip-
...well, glad you all enjoyed yourselves. Cute Cadillac shot...
Happy weekend!

The videos are sooooo good, and the music is PERFECT!!
I just came back from Smocha's blog, so I'm practically copying my comment from there.
Good lord, you two are SISTERS! I mean, you wouldn't have even had to tell me - it's like the same person is writing two different blogs. Weird. And funny.
Soulkid is beautiful! And she truly did seem to be having a good time. I love the pic of her asleep with headphones and her panda.
And did I miss something? What's the deal with the little number 2 pig?
Good to have you back!
My initial reaction to the motel was a combination of hilarity and revulsion, but now I understand. I've stayed at some similar places in my life, too. One that stands out was in a place in Gatlinburg, TN. It was advertised as a two bedroom suite with kitchenette and balcony over the creek. Well, it turned out to be dark and gloomy with two full size beds, then a closet sized room at the rear with an army cot and blanket, a cube fridge on the floor and a microwave on the shelf over the closet rod. Since I'm barely five feet tall, I could OPEN the microwave, but there was no way I could push the buttons. And the balcony over the creek? Yeah, it was there, right outside the room, but you either had to go outside the front door and walk all the way around the motel, or climb out the window.
And then there was the room where I stayed ON MY HONEYMOON. Fred's band was booked for a week at a club in Greenville, Mississippi, and I shared a room with him and two other guys in the band!!!! This was our HONEYMOON, for heaven's sake! It reminded me a lot of your room, except with the addition of dirty Pampers in the trash cans and outside the bathroom window.
Oh, yeah, I live a life of luxury.
You brought kitties with you??? I can understand the pink pig. But kitties as traveling companions? LOL! Glad you'all had fun!
I went to your sister's sight...needless to say I'm still laughing my ass off!!!
I LOVE IT!!
