anyhow---- i hope everybody had fantastic turkey days!
ours was pretty good. lots to be thankful for around here. surviving the year i reckon was a feet in itself for a couple of us over here in soulland.
we decided we would step away from the traditions and go with a good ole smoked beef brisket this year. traditions are "for the birds" apparently. wanna know why i say so? cuz, for new years, we decided to go the traditional route for the first time in either of our lives and try the black eyed pea thing. and in return, what did we get? well, we went broke. we got mice in the attic. the ceiling leaked, the A/C went out. soulkid fell apart. i had like three trips to the emergency room.. for real live emergencies. UGH. i coulda gone at any time gilberT. soulman broke his hand. i'll stop there-- cuz if i start TRYIN to remember lord knows WHAT i might find. :)) anyways.. point bein... no more goin with the flow / just for the sake of traditions sake any more for this soul clan. nuh uh no way no how. we'll pick our meals by fate, not what the neighbors have on their plate. :))
ugh-- i know-- that was baaaad huh? oh well, i'm done .
sssoooooooo....... i haven't smoked yet-- and OMG i WANT to soooo bad . i have three packs around here and i could smoke at my leisure. just the thought makes my jaw twitch. erg. my poor jaw. this gum is gonna kill me. i chew it too hard or too long or too something-- but man-o-man it flippin aches. it hurt to just eat my meal today. i may be doing permanent damage to my face and jaw muscles just tryin to not smoke. what a trade-off.
go ahead--- it's your turn to tell me i'd be better off smokin :))
kiddin. i am, but i'm not. hmmmmm.
so. anyhow. what else?
nuthin i guess. just a happy turkey day for now.
i'll save all the boring junk for tomorrow.

I'm in too much of a turkey stupor to write anything on my blog. Whew. It was wonderful but the dessert put me over the edge.
Sounds like your's was good, and you had it in a clean house. Yeah!!! Did the landlady come over yesterday? Hopefully everything got signed and done with.

yep landlady stopped by-- first time she has seen insine the house in a year-- she looked around seemed pleased--until---- she saw the cat eating ON the kitchen table. LOL.. i guess she's just not used to that. she was mortified. oops.

Brisket sounds good. Wouldn't know cuz I don't think I've ever had it.
I can't chew even regular gum for long ,without biting the crap out of my cheeks. And ,yeah, the jaw pain is pretty bad too.
my neighbor, G5 ,has been chewing the nicotine gum since they had grandkids. I believe the twins are 15 now.

i saw the greatest pan soaking tip on tv EVAH! they had the nastiest, crustyest, chiliest, dried on-est had to be just sittin there crusting for two weeks-- i woulda thrown it away---- they put two DENTURE tabs in it in hot water-- set it aside-- did different work-- went back to it--
and that damn pan washed itself!!! they poured out the water, rinsed it out and all the chili crud was off!
guess who's buyin denture cleaner? YUP-- MEEEEE!!!!
men can get their horses beer-- i'm gettin my dishes denture tablets! haha
sorry smocha-- this ends our emergency interruption.
anyhow-- now-- NOT only does my jaw hurt-- i think this gum is making my HEAD hurt too!!! i started the gum right after my migraine went away-- then it was back-- remember? well i woke up with a totally different kinda headache. gotta be from the gum.
my dr was SUPPOSED to call in chantix on friday-- did she? ummm no.
why?
cuz she's a selfish bitch.

because i am me?
but i will be tryin that as soon as i can get a hold of her and tell her--
i can TOO go around firing everybody-- and you WILL be next if you don't start workin for your damn money.
i don't have the teeth -- or apparently the jaw muscle to do this gum for ---ugh, 15 years. that is a scary thought---
and an expensive one.
that's as bad as chewin skoal/dip ya know-- he could get mouth cancer after that long.
does he know that?
i'm sure the lable doesn't say so-- but wth does he think is in dip? it causes cancer too.
we just can't win.
and i tell ya. some of these nic fits are reallllllly hard to get past.
so i am not promising anyone a thing!

i know insurance won't cover chantix, i may see about a partial fill.. not sure if they can do that-- haven't checked.. but if i can get like a week worth -- just enough to see if i will have fish talk to me or anything too weird for me to handle, before i spend a fortune on it. ju-no? i dunno.
but i can't stay on this gum.. perhaps patches? i'd try lozenges... but i'm a chewer. :((

no, i meant traditions have backfired on me this year and brought bad luck-- so we went our own way for turkey day dinner-- and i didn't work hard at all.. i did have to do something tho --just like i thought-- it was impossible to just watch.. so i did help clean up. but i didn't wash any dishes-- maybe i'll wash the last one.. :)) -- just for a/c
