i know i'm late today-- but as they say-- bettah late than nevah..
anyhow--- i haven't made my rounds today so i don't really have a clue what's goin on out there right now. but i shall be hittin a few pages in a bit..and hopefully finishing up before bed tonight.
not much happenin around soulland today...
soulman didn't have to work so we went fishin earlier-- we both caught one fish each-- might have done a little better but we didn't stay long, only about an hour or so.
we didn't get a pic of soulmans' but do ya wanna see mine? :))
nobody has requested a name for this one... so if ya wanna claim him .. he's yours-- first come first served-- i already have a couple ideas for a couple peeps-- so if your one of them.. it oughtta be easy to name him.. if not-- i will just have to get creative... :))
so anyways-- here he is--

after that we went to chipotle for lunch-- to go-- and OMG-- i ate the whole damn thing. have y'all ever had-- or seen a chipotle burrito?? it is rare that i get through half of one.. but i ate all of it today-- the damn thing has to be two pounds of food. ugh. i knew i was done for soon as the last bite hit my belly. i told soulman.. i'll be asleep within the hour-- and i was. :((
which meant-- nuthin else on my to do list got touched--- except takin soulkid to ortho--- i got her from school at 245-- like ten minutes after i woke up from my nap :(
turns out, she will be released from braces jail tomorrow! woo hoo! no more worryin about the damned rubber bands .. yippee. now i just have to remind her to wear the damn retainer. the bottom will be "attached".. glued or bolted-- i don't know-- but they can't do that with the top-- lord i wish they could-- cuz i know it will be hell. they said-- if she had trouble with the bands-- she'll have trouble with the retainer. hopefully not-- i said i'll bolt the thing in myself!
i had to sign a "non-compliance letter today due to her not wearing the bands-- she has benefited as much as she ever will at this point without wearing the bands like she is sposed to... so i just told them to take em off! then they gave me this "letter" to sign.. ugh.
but what a relief.. for all of us.
so anyhow-- we just got home from there a little bit ago-- now we are tryin to figure out what to do for dinner-- i have pork chops out-- but it seems no one wants em.. and i don't much feel like cookin em.. sooo-- we shall see. personally i just wanna put my jammies on and stay where i'm at-- and have them go bring somethin home... and maybe watch a movie. we have sweeney todd, and the waterhorse--- they've been sittin here for days and we haven't watched either of them. both are sposed to be good. i will let ya know, if we get around to watchin one.
welp-- that's about it on my end-- catch ya on yours in a while--

Glad you and hubby were fishing if only for a while. When my oldest son finally got his braces off I threatened to dance naked on the table. Braces on that boy was a major train wreck all the way from beginning to end!
I actually cooked the pork chops I thawed for our dinner. They weren't what I wanted but they made a meal. Hope you had something better.
bonnie-- it may as well have been some kind of eatin competition-- i forced the last 1/3 of it down.. too little to save for later and too much to throw away UGH.

it's just now gettin nice enough to get out and fish for any length of time---
sushi is doin pretty good.. course, she stoned half the time-- imagine-- she's already nutty enough , now she's on drugs. :))
and nope-- she's still runnin the show here-- i have no idea why eevee bit her-- i didn't see it happen. i heard it-- just didn't see it.. now me and soulman are siding with each dog-- he says it was sushis fault-- taunting eevee... i say it was eevee's fault-- cuz she's just mean.. :))
no tellin.. sushi prolly was harrassin her and she couldn't take anymore so took a chunk out of her.

i can't remember any good (hot) mexican food out that way... course i was pretty much poverty stricken there and didn't eat out like i do now.. so maybe i just didn't try it. i only lived up there a couple months.

i love HOT food tho.
believe it or not- i live in texas- and there really isn't good mexican food around here-- it's all chain stuff.. and made for whimps who don't eat peppers or salt .
anyhow-- i think i'm on some kinda food review segment that i just shouldn't be on right now-- so i will shut up now ...

i never had to wear braces-- glad i didn't at this point-- it's hell enough just watchin it.
i think you would know by now if chris needed em.. we knew by the time soulkid was like 8 or 9. they (her teeth) sure look good in comparison now . it's gonna be sooo weird to see her TEETH again..and straight.. :))
anyhow-- yep-- i was pretty stahvin.. but still felt like a pig-- made for a light dinner tho-- with lotsa leftovers for my lunch tomorrow...

Every now and then ,I still wear mine at night and have been known to wake up and find it loose ,in the bed. lol
(those who don't know...I didn't get MY braces til I was 38)
Frame that "non compliance " paper and present it to her ...a few years from now when her teeth revert back to "mangled" ,so she can't blame YOU! :)))

Why is Sushi drugged? antibiotics shouldn't make her drugged. And this long after the bite , she doesn't need pain pills. I'm sooo confused.

sushi is on anti B's still.. but i am still givin her 1 or 2 tramadols.. a quarter of a 50mg tab.. because she seems to not lick or chew on the wound the wound as much when she has a pill. i assume it hurts and that is why she messes with it so much.. and why the pill seems to help. i'm not a vet-- i'm wingin it.. but hey-- whatever works.
(it's soooo gross lookin.. but it is lookin better..and not oozy-- so that is good. i really was worried. you know how animal moms get. :))

I've got 2 in braces right now...it sucks the big one paying for those. Bet soulkid's excited to be out of them!
