I got my baby back baby back baby back ribs ! I mean i got my baby back HOME. yep. she's home, and safe. and happy to be here. and i, needless to say, am happy to have her. we're both exhausted now though. her, because she stayed up all night with her cousin last night, and me, cuz i woke up early this morning, then the exhausting nerve wracking drive to and from the airport...not to mention a big lunch. i see a nap in the near future...for both of us. what a relief to have my girl back home. gramma misses her already though. i knew she would, she never has done goodbyes very well. they had a good visit though.
anyhow... will c yall latah

i got my nap....she's still sleeping.
she won't wake up either... it's gonna be real fun trying to get her on a school schedule, with her days and nights backwards. argh.

well, i may give her a one week reprieve , then i'll crack the whip. :))
I am so happy she's back in one piece, safe and sound. And now so are you---safe and sound, that is. Funny how we are never quite "right" when out kids are not where they ought to be...
i know jamie... it really was like a part of me was missing. it;s gonna be so weird when she moves away. if she follows the path of the rest of the family, we all left home young... most by 17 out of six kids between the two families. ugh. that's four years if she does. i think she'll stick around longer though. she's got nuthin to rush away from really. at least i hope not.
