The photo is LOVELY! Your daughter is so pretty, and you look just fine Soul, stop fussin! Some years down the road pix like these will mean everything to your daughter. I wish I had more of just Mom and me, can't think of a single one at the moment.
When does she leave for New Mexico, and what kind of mother sends her daughter to "Hell"?! Hehe

awww shucks gals. i like the pic too. we were havin fun that night. my daughter took that pic. she actually took about six, but only a couple came out half way good.
she's flying back with her uncle to hell....umm NM...on july 30th. and coming back on aug 10. i think. but... after this passed little adventure.. it wasn't a full four nights away....and only really less than half an hour from home... and she got homesick...fast. so, i don't know how this is gonna work out. her round trip ticket is already bought and paid for. flying out is no prob..she'll be with her uncle. it's the staying the whole time, and the flying back alone, that i'm not sure about. so, i need to make sure, i'm ready to drive out on a whim, and stay and drive back with her, if she wants me to. she may only last a few days before i need to head out. we shall see.
if she does make it... i shall have lots of fishin time on my hands. as long as the rain stays away. but it will be soo weird. i missed her just over the few days she was just gone.
i won't miss the loud music tho...that is for sure.
a DOLL? oh man.. i look like death! but thanks for not noticing. honestly tho... i do see other women my age that look a whole helluva lot worse. i don't feel beautiful or anywhere close...but i think i'm aging ok compared to some. even if i do have black bags under my eyes, and sucked up cheeks, etc etc etc. :)) critical much? yep. thanks yall for comin by oh and yankee i know what ya mean...i was in shock when she took those pics...getting her in a pic with me is usually like pulling teeth!
You are both quite beautiful, stop yer damned complainin....seriously, she is really quite something! You will both have a wonderful time while she is away, it will be good for the both of you, lol and complete understanding for the "being ready to leave at a moment's notice" I was just the same way...you know how weird I STILL am with my kids, but they always did better than I thought they would...I was always the one falling apart..teehee.
well jamie...she does love her gramma..that's a PLUS...and she has a few friends there from when we lived there in 05... plus her two cousins...they are both very excited she's coming too... she also has a very good friend that she has met online...oh great...but they have become close..."friends!" she emphatically states. she loves that he understands her and she can tell him anything... plus he is actually a recorded singer (is that waht you call someone with a cd out?) and he's actually quite good.. he's only like 14 or 15 yrs old. you KNOW i'm leary of her meeting this kid...but she knows the rules, and so does gramma. so it's all good. i've seen his pics and heard his music...and even though i have the nagging feeling...he's a weirdo fifty year old stalker...i've heard him n the phone....i really don't think that's the case. he's just "a friend in the computer". LOL so anyhow... yes... i DO hope she stays busy enough, and enough fun that she can enjoy herself, and talking to us on the phone will be enough for her. i just wish it would have been made for like one week or five days... 11 days seems a little long for her...for not being away that long before. but.. i'll be ready. and to make that easier... hubbys aunt lives in Lubbock..the half way point..and i usually will stop there overnight when i go to abq...cuts the trip in half..not so hard on my body...plus i get to visit there too. and ya.. she really probably will surprise us, and forget all about us once she gets there. who knows. we can only wait and see. and it is ME that the worried one...obviously. moms. geesh. :))
and don't dog out my teeth...they cost a lot of money! LOL
